BUSINESS INDIA is India's first and foremost business magazine. Launched in February 1978, this business fortnightly pioneered the market for business journalism, in India. When this business fortnightly released its inaugural issue, the business precinct was considered a forbidden territory for journalism. Unfazed by what was considered socially incorrect in those days, Business India ventured out to play the role of a catalyst and create an environment for business and industry to flourish. In the process, it provided a leadership of ideas for the business community, policymakers, institutions and academia in India.
